According to the most recent survey, about one third of the households in Canada have a dog, cat or both. This means that there are literally millions of people living in downtown Toronto condos and homes in St John's that need to do that extra work to keep there home clean from animals. Even if you have a pet that's fully trained there are going to be times when their food ends up all over the kitchen floor or they track mud through the carpets in your North York real estate. Here are some tips for dealing with cleaning up after pets.
If you have a new pet at home than you will want to do what you can to get them potty trained as soon as possible. Try to keep a schedule for when you take them outside. Not only will this help them remember what you're expecting of them on their walks or trips to the backyard but it will also make it easier for you to avoid accidents during their learning stage. Dogs respond well to rewards but they also learn by repetition. If you never go inside until they pee they will learn that they need to pee while they're outside of your Mississauga Ontario real estate and not while they're in the living room.
Vacuum your home at least once a week per pet. This is something that the whole family can pitch in with. Explain to kids that being responsible for a pet is not just about feeding them and taking them out for a walk. You also want to make sure that they are living in a clean and healthy environment. You should also have removable covers on all of the furniture that they frequent sleep on. If you're someone who lets your dog or cats sleep with you in your bed in residences of College Park or Ottawa home than you might want to put an extra sheet on the top of your bed for them to lie on. This you can wash for them more frequently than the rest of the laundry.
If your pets tend to track in things from outside than you can teach them to wait until their paws have been cleaned when they come in the house. Keep some old towels or rags right by the door and don't let them by until they are mud free. This will keep your home designs a little more in tact even when they've been playing outside on a wet day.
